I Have Realized Two Things...

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by TheX, Dec 28, 2016.

  1. Done that with a bow and arrow :Mooning:

  2. Best .22 semi: BRNO .22 WMR ZKM 611. If you liked the Ruger you'll love this. Nothing better for spanking rabbits but they're small and fluffy and don't shoot back. If the other guy's got an Uzi and a duffle coat you're fucked.

  4. You know him..? :Wideyed: Far be it from me to cast aspersions on your circle of friends Chiz but I think you may be mixing with the wrong crowd..

  5. Yip

  6. been 15 years since I even fired a gun but the ruger was the top back then. For a short rifle it was sooo good. Top selling 22 for years. If that BRNO is better it must be the nuts!

  7. "mixed" with the wrong crowd.. He got off on self defense. True story.

  8. Clever them Czech's :Angelic:

  10. The Ruger is a good little gun and they're customisable. You can make them really sweet. But out of the box I bet the BRNO will spank it on accuracy and the Rugers have noisy mechanisms.
I had a Krico semi many years ago. That was good fun. But it wouldn't work with sub-sonics, only HVs.

The Czechs do make fine guns. Or did. The BRNOs of old were a league above the modern CZs which are budget rifles. Good, but budget. Not to be confused with CZ bikes which were utter shite.

  11. But not the other :Angelic:

  12. the ruger used to foul with subs as well unless using Winchester ammo, then I could put a 1000 rounds through it without a clean no prob.
didn't find the mech too noisy but then it wasn't something I really noticed in a gun unless it was real clunky.
had a scope mounted spot light on mine with battery on the hip, my mates would take the shot guns for rabbits but I found that unsporting.
even bagged a few on the run with it

  13. TBH , it was frowned upon in my shooting days to be cutting men in half or their horses , my father would have gone mad with us , best gun we had for the rabbits etc was a 410 on the bottom with a 22 magnum on top , cracker of a gun , that's why my brother always took it and I was left with an old side by side 12 bore Purdue , ladies one , short , well just what a 12yr old needed
