A some what lesser problem reared it's head today - after all the issues with the dating letter, the DVLA in their wisdom have decided not to put the date of manufacture on the V5C - so now I can't put the TB08 WSB number plate on it via their online service. And they haven't yet returned my dating letter... this must be the most incompetent institution in the UK They have also omitted the vehicle type off the V5C altogether!
Still no V5 but decided to check the DVLA 'Check if a Vehicle is Taxed' web site...………. …………..and it shows against the new number plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at long last it is on the road and raining all weekend just need to swap the wheels / slicks and put the road legal set on and it's sorted just in time for winter what a relief, it certainly been worth all the hassle
Mmmm, a race bike for the road and one as a track bike it would be nice but I'm all out of pennies bike rich and penny poor it's a nice place to be though You should keep it!
