  4. Do you remember what to do with these ?

Later on they became love eggs but in the 70's, they were well cool

  5. If you got it wrong you used to knack your wrists :D

  6. Yes... wasn’t there a little blonde assistant on there called Angie or Ann Singleton.. ? Crossbolt that had to sever a crosshair or something to win... was that with Bob Monkhouse?

  7. And the knock off ones would shatter....

  8. Seeing Coronation Street when it first started in 1960. And Doctor Who from the beginning in 1963.

  9. Ena Sharples...,,

  10. She was Wilfred Pickles pianist on Have a Go.

    Minnie Caldwell and Martha Longhurst.

  11. From memory she was called Anne Aston I think. And it was Bob Monkhouse.

  12. There was Valerie Singleton on Blue Peter.

  13. She was (and still might be) Joan Armatrading’s other half.

  14. Really, blimey ....

  15. Nope, she's married to Maggie Butler

  16. The New Avengers with Joanna Lumley, Gareth Hunt and Patrick Macnee.

I saw Gareth Hunt live in a seedy bar in the West End when he was trying to launch a music career. It wasn't all bad, The Sensational Alex Harvey was singing that night too.

  17. Some of my fave memories:
    The hot summer of 76,
    Triangular ice pop things... Jubblies?
Snogging Ruth Collinson on the back field at School
Swap Shop on a Saturday morning
Suzi Quatro in her hey day
    Debbie Harry in hers
    Oxford bags
Slade (Slade in flame was my first album bought)
    Oxblood Doc Martens
Denim cut downs over leather jackets
    Pepe Jeans
Filling my Fizzie up for a £1
Two stoke oil dispenser next to the petrol pump
Old school bike dealers who actually stocked parts

  18. I let a Brocks banger off in the Belfast sink in Science class and got 6 of these on each hand off the headmaster (Mr Cassie - Bas***d)!

Not sure I would get that now if it happened.

But when I got home I had one of these to play with once my hands stopped stinging.
