The heading says it all. My old girl is still in the shop. She had a knackered rear hub bearing and the wheel is damaged internally. The shop says it needs to be replaced, now a new ST4 rear wheel is about £900, they can supply a second hand one for half that, but only a 5 spoke, not the 3 spoke one that's on it currently. So I'm in desperate need of a second hand good condition 3 spoke grey rear wheel for a 2001 ST4 Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Or does anyone know what other models have a compatible wheel, as there are several on fleabay. Thanks C.
Wheel from monster 2 side arm 99ish-07ish old shape and SSie 99-05 should fit, check axle diameters and rim width might be less on 620/750 bikes.
Thanks for the reply. Amazingly I found one. In a bike breakers in Staffs. Having it shipped to the shop for fitting Friday, so I should hopefully get my old girl back Saturday morning. From Pro motorcycle salvage near Leek. He has a few dying Ducati's including a 749 Dark. 01538 361717
