  1. What is this talk,. he is not the only one who done this. I seem to remember few Americans, Colin comes to mind, racing with collarbones broken and more, this one Italian called Rossi with seriously broken leg, this one British chap called Crutchlow with busted ankles.

  2. Lorenzo and Chris Walker both raced with two broken ankles, I remember Lorenzo having to be lifted on and off the bike

  3. Didn't watch moto3, but moto2 and motogp were pretty dire. About time they ditched Indianapolis.

  4. What is this, a pain competition? Just because other racers are incredibly brave (foolhardy...) that doesn't mean that Stoner isn't.
Sure plenty of others have done this sort of thing, but most of the others aren't accused of being moaning minnies who do nothing but whinge.

  5. Oh look, track seemed safe enough ;)

And getting back on is what he pros do, and ridimg with injury is easier than walking in many way; maybe not wrestling 250 hp but as someone said big electronic packages they have must help. Stoner just couldnt do enough to stop Dovi

Moto 3 was the only entertaining race. But that did look a track with as much grip as Bubba's 15yr old soap

  6. Moto3 was the only race worth watching

  7. Anyone remember Kagayama racing with basically broken everything? At one point he was being lifted medieval knight style onto his bike...... daft bugger.

Indi's a crap bike circuit ...... one racing line and a crash if you leave it. Daft tyres don't help, and if you're Spies, looks like mechanics are throwing his bikes together last thing Friday morning with leftover parts!

  10. Rossi was clearly just out for a bimble

  11. Granted but them saying "Good job Casey" is also unfounded for as he is not the first and not the worst injured one doing that.

  12. Sadly we mere mortals win nothing

  13. I am curious what Casey has to do to impress you? Please tell us.

Back to Valentino, who post race had the following MOAN

“In the race though, with the higher temperatures of the afternoon, the rear tyre started to slide a lot after just a few laps. The harder I tried to push, the more it slid, so I actually went slower.

“I tried to stay with the others but I closed the front twice, and I nearly crashed. At that point, I decided to make it to the finish without making mistakes.

    MOAN MOAN MOAN

  14. For me Derek the difference is Rossi and the others tend to give some credit to their crew, suuporters whatever and drop a moan or two in there. Stoner can win at a canter by a mile, and first thing he does is critisise the bike or something in the set up not working. The man is rarely gracious in defeat or victory, and behaves as if he woud have won by way further if the team ever got the bike working properly. Its for this reason I cant be a fan of the man, but I am a fan of his riding skills. I'd suggest many would be the same....whereas Rossi is in the main the package, as is to a lesser extent most of the BSB boys, Edwards, Lornzo of latter years, Redding is developing it well and smith which is why they are liked

  15. Cheer up, for starters...

  16. was another dull affair motogp better watch out as it might implode World super bike all the way .
    Moto2 can be exciting though

  17. dangerous if they are sabotagueing his bike because he has pissed them off

  18. Am I impressed by his general skill Yes, frankly quite easily. Would I go as far as saying great job Casey for going out with injury knowing full well others do it and did with bigger injuries well erm no. It is now a norm that they go out with some broken bones or steel rods in them, no idea who started that but they do. Just like it is the norm for footballers to arrive to work in flip-flops for breakfast :D

  19. In the same way Camier commented that, after beating team-mate Biaggi on the Aprilia, from that race on his engines power delivery seemed a bit 'softer' ..... and then his contract wasn't renewed.

Be very interesting to see who's engine goes 'soft' at Yam next year!
