poor Camier he was awesome that year he won British superbikes ,its wrong not playing ona level playing field ,he could have gone on to great things ,cheated i would feel
That's one view. Another is that the guy is a total perfectionist and if it's not absolutely perfect he tells it as he sees it. And he always uses 'we', which he gets criticised for, but it's recognition of his team and it's not true to say that he doesn't give thanks to his team. It's just that some people only hear what they're expecting to hear. It's human nature and called confirmation bias.
Must admit (and I hate agreeing with Tony) but CS does say "we" constantly in post race interviews, sometimes good and sometimes bad.
He does, but you can tell when we means them and we means me. The devil of the detail in what he says.
At the end of the day, motogp needs money, and Stoner isn't the sort of person that would attract it. He's old school, and old school ain't no good any more. If they were still carting manx nortons around in morris vans he'd be champion twenty years running. Sadly for him, the razzamataz in motogp these days is there for a reason, and Rossi is the ringmaster. It's not Stoner's fault, it's not Rossi's fault, it's not Dorna or the manufacturers' fault, and it certainly isn't our fault. I blame America.
Jesus! When did GP turn into wrestling? Time to punt the king of the clowns and let Bayliss ride out the rest of the season
Agreed Hayden is apparently out for BRNO so who gets his ride and if they beat Rossi whats the concensis
Ducati have already confirmed that nobody will be riding Hayden's bike at Brno, despite my offering my services to the factory!
Another cop out from ducati then (sorry no capital for them coz they are really pissing me off at the moment). It seems to me they really have no idea which direction to go in , piss poor imho.
You could find an argument in a lift alone, couldnt you Seriously no bias. In some interviews I've warmed to him, most I haven't. But as I have said a gazzilion times and clearly you choose to ignore, preferring to see anyone who makes a statement against as a hater, I love his riding, he can be proper exciting and the GP will be a worse paddock for him not being there. Same as it was with Foggy; and I thought he always came across as a moaning git too...and yet his success is the reason I wanted a 916. Go figure
Who are they supposed to get? It's the middle of the season. Anyone good is contracted, and it's the same weekend as a WSB round so they can't get someone off the Althea team. If there's anyone with relevant top-level racing available that could ride the Ducati, then they'd have spoken to them, whilst Franco Battiaini showed in his rides on Abraham's machine that he's miles off the pace (which must actually call his own job into question...) Hopefully they'll give Karel Abraham a factory bike in his own colours seeing as it's his home race. Barbera might have got promoted given his strong form this season - he has been able to run with Hayden this season although not usually Rossi come the end of the race. Which is why Rossi is ahead of Hayden and Barbera in the championship I guess. However, I think Hector's injured. Otherwise they're looking at someone who is contracted to ride a Ducati in a national superbike championship. BSB is on at Cadwell this weekend, and in any case, I can't see Smart or Binladen getting the call!
Damn, I need the Ducati corse phone number. I'm out of the Classic Superbike championship ( where I am currently 3rd overall) this weekend at Donnington because my gearbox has just eaten itself. I am free from 5pm today, my gear is packed and I am ready to rock n roll.............
Good luck with that Cranker!! Jeez just imagine what would happen if you beat Rossi, we could claim to know you personally and all get free paddock passes to all gp's!!
