  1. Yes but back then they never had any idea that the rich would feel the need to become so much richer. You can of course see why that is so necessary nowadays. How else would they be able to create , build and operate spacecraft for their friends to go on joyrides? Plus the cost of marrying off your son is now enough to make a rich (and conceited, fat, bloated pig) weep. Poor Mr Ambiani had to spend 500K per guest (1200 attendees and £600 million cost). Fortunately Bezos was able to rent Venice for his nuptials a mere 56 million, thus making his cost per acquaintance just 280,000.

It seems the time for revolution is not so far off?

  2. But thats a load of bllx.

One of the chefs featured in the series has been edited out at their personal request as they do not want to be associated with the presenters. Besides does the BBC not also have a duty to its license paying viewers to act in a better way?

  4. I signed that online thing declaring I wouldn’t pay it a couple of years back but won’t lie I didn’t like the tone of the letters I received and didn’t fancy another court appearance so (pathetically) caved in.

  5. As long as you don’t watch any BBC content or any live (as it’s broadcast) tv then you don’t need one, the letters are all bluff designed to scare people. If they turn up at your door ( they won’t) say no thank you and close the door, they have no powers they are just salesmen.

Thats the one, he was in court a few months ago for beating his Mrs and now this. The BBC really do seem to attract those types.

  9. And while we’re on that subject did anyone know there’s a “hot food” tax?

£2.70 for a large(ish) sausage roll because it’s been heated.

    £1.80 for a cold one.

  10. I don't watch TV at all, so I can afford to spend twice the money in the bakers, and always choose "hot" when available. LOL

  11. If he answered the door and they asked if he had a tv licence or could see the telly on then that’s how they did him. Even on the few occasions it goes to court the fine is on average less than £200 and not the 2 grand they band about.
Have a look at a channel on YouTube called Chilli Jon carne he’s great on the tv licence facts.
