Lhs mid panel, just below the black trim that sits between the panel and the frame, there is a wire with a white connector that has wires already linked to it. You can add the wires from the charger to that, so no need to disconnect battery I'll take a pic of the one I took off then yiu can see what connector you are looking for
Don't tell about German quality. They cant even put a clip into a locking cylinder. Took a week to get that. :Banghead: I'm tired and away to sleep.
Its the opposite side (mine is dvt so imagine its not!) to tye panel pic behind the higher black plastic The white connector is fitted, with wires hanging out. You can see where I have taped together Hth

I've deleted my post and apologise for my misconstruing what you wrote. Sorry, seem to be suffering a lot of idiots recently (not suggesting you're one!). The device was cheap - less than a tenner I think, so I didn't have great expectations for high quality. The mounting and installation were easy, but I decided to add the cable tie just in case - the bit that goes round the bar is flimsy, and it seemed wise. Apologies again! Nik
