I'm taking my first bike trip to the IoW. I'm meeting my brother-in-law at the Red Funnel in Southampton Saturday morning for a ride around. I guess I need to stay away from Newport as there is some music festival going on. Unfortunately, this is the only day that we can meet up. Other than the expected chaos, does anyone have any good tips? Is the Bikery cafe worth the stop? I am thinking going anti clockwise , stoping at the Bikery for lunch then on to the military road along the coast to the east side, then finding some inland roads to work back to Cowes. Thank you
