  2. I didn’t get past the Elsie. I so badly wanted a full fairing for mine back in the day. Saved for ages & then bought a GS550 instead. Good bike but so regret selling the Yam

  13. Oxford I think! Early 80s, I’m the one rolling a fag! I was on my z1 and my bro(having a shandy) on his z650! 6 of us going off camping for a few weeks, brilliant times

  14. I'm always quite envious when I see other people's old photos. There's a large chunk of my life that went unrecorded. Couldn't afford to get photos developed, so only got a couple. This is 19yo me back in 1972.. Me 1971.jpg

  18. Been clearing the garage and found these. Taken on the Gower Peninsular in 1980 bu my aspiring photographer mate, my attempt to replicate Ballaugh Bridge. Note the period attire - jackboots with long red socks, cheap leather jacket, jeans. Bike is a z250a if you're interested. I like the way I have the throttle pinned on the 3rd pic. Was probably all of 50 mph.
