It was the assertion that 5% of 105 is 4.76 that was throwing me. I was being too dim to realise what he was trying to say is that 5ml is 4.76% of 105 ml.
Stop being a prat Jon.........4.76 when rounded up to one decimal place is 4.8 so who gives an F about 0.1 unless it is the size of your d... (head) in your mind? It wasn't the original point I made so go and play with yourse** or your calculator - I don't effing care. Then there is "Proof" to think about, it too is expressed as a percentage, 50% alcohol with 50% water is 100% Proof alcohol (the drinking kind).
Just in case a direct answer is still needed: Adding IPA to your tank (in any amount) will not remove water from the fuel. In reality it will do the opposite and attract more water. It can solubilise some water droplets you might see in the bottom of the tank and mean you can’t see it any more, but the water is still there.
I would only use one of them to clean the stylus of a record player. (Blast from my past but now apparently back in!)
i can usually make it to the loo. In fact, i always make it to the loo. Whether to chuck up or urinate is besides the point. But i prefer to utilise the correct recepticle. Im a respectable fellow dont you know.
