Blinking eck after all this time and drama that's the best shots you can offer? Tightus arsikus on the photo's chap.
It’s not going anywhere for some decent shots, but here it is from the ad And what it will look like until the salt has gone!
Very nice bradders....very chuffed for ya....hope you used the 3 bucket method....very good work there....I would tho never advocate the use of a outdoor cover....i've seen a lot of damage caused by outdoor covers....if i were you I'd take the cover off......any particulates blown under the cover attach themselves to the paintwork then the wind blows the cover and essentially any particles of dirt trapped act basically as sandpaper on your paintwork....just want to give you the my professional opinion.... Oh and if yer pockets are deep I'll do the business on it!!! lol...
Think the faded paint will need to be sorted first. But think its one of those things to do at the start of summer, then again end Autumn when the car goes away. I have under cover as garage is too full of part built bikes...and figured better not to be in the outside elements? Cover seems quite good, got a soft cotton inside liner and pretty heavyweight plastic, with ties under to keep it daily sealed to keep crap out.
As long as you are comfortable with it buddy....faded paint you say?.....can you elaborate....it may be the clear coat. Can you PM some images I may be able to help. Again congrats on your purchase....
I'll need to take the cover off LOL but I'll take some when its lighter again. Its a very unique metallic paint, and the faded but looks 'blotchy' and almost like a hyena skin (not that bad, obviously, you have to be pretty close to notice)
If it looks blotchy Bradders, it possibly could be staining on the clear coat due to numerous factors.........I know a detailer that could sort it for ya!...
I agree with Rob, about the cover bradders. Going back a few years used to keep my bike outside with a cover on. No matter how tight I secured it, the wind still managed to move the cover enough to rub the paint off on most of the edges. But if your keeping it out of sight of prying eyes as well that's a different thing.
It's German metal bradders, leave the thing outside, give it a coat of wax a couple of times a year, and use it, I remember a Porsche guy telling me, the more problematic cars in his experience were the molly cuddled garage queens.
Looking good Bradders bet your feeling quite pleased at the end of the week be. I can let you have details of my Porsche mechanic if you want-very capable....
