most recent memorable was about 2 years ago, it was the classic - car* turning right in front of me, no indicator, no warning. Avoided and missed by passing in less than a second, no point in guessing a distance. *not a Ferrari
Most memorable was over taking a line of stopped traffic at road works when all of a sudden and without any warning a car driver decided to make a three point turn, right in front of my approach. I swerved right whilst braking, avoiding a collision ended up stopped alongside the car with my left elbow resting on the roof (I was riding my then Multistrada) She apologised saying she hadn’t seen me, which I thought was fair enough!
this ties up nicely with @DucatiScud 's post on The Cyclist thread, if we have the confidence to trust ourselves and are concentrating, there is every chance that will will input the correct phsical reaction/manoeuvre immediately.
