I do not recognise the stereotype of John Berger as a dour Marxist – his work embodied hope | Books | The Guardian
Anyone less dour than John would be hard to imagine. He was the antithesis of dour. I think he just wanted to stick up for little people and realised that they were only "little" because they didn't have the power of money. Thanks for the link!
