So you’ve got a £100k + bike collection, large helmet collection and you don’t just go out and buy a new washing machine. I was trying to understand the logic and then thought, oh yep that would be me too... Good on ya..
Good work ! .... satisfying isn't it . And not just because you saved a stack of money by not calling someone in or worse still ,spent hundreds on getting a new one , and adding to the shocking amount of perfectly good stuff going into landfill sites . A word to the wise though ..... don't waste time on Dishwashers ..... I can give a bunch of good reasons why I won't touch them anymore .
I had a similar satisfying experience when I spent 1/2 an hour in my garage stretching my wife’s ring the other week.... Rather than pay the 60 quid at a rip off jewellers, I bought a ring mandrel off eBay for about a fiver and expanded her wedding ring by half a size myself. It was so successful that I used it to stretch my work colleagues ring too...
