  1. So it’s 20 grand. But do you know what, even I’d look at paying anything for that!

  2. I have a Brembo m/c 19/18 with a Pazzo lever for sale if you are interested.

    £110 delivered

  3. Brembo m/c sold…

    good luck with the build

  5. Might be worth dropping coolant and taking rad off to clean it of road crud as you have the bodywork off. It’s amazing how blocked up the radiator gets.
This lovely task is on my list of jobs before this season’s track days start.

  9. If you fancy a quicker action throttle on the cheap purchase the R6 throttle tube from a 2C0 R6 (£25) and fit it. It reduces the opening from 1/4 turn to 1/6 turn, 90 degrees down to just 60 degrees.

  10. R1 throttle is midway between standard Suzuki and the R6 mod if R6 mod too aggressive.

  12. Yeah R1 is 1/5 so 72 degrees from closed to open.

The R6 throttle tube may require a little doctoring of the throttle housing, I had to do this to the wife’s K7 600 but I think the R1 would fit without modification. Some manage the R6 without any modification but it takes 5 mins with a dremel.

  13. I had domino QAT on my gsxr that's very good

  14. because the throttle housing is also part of the switchgear it means you’d have to fit a separate switch for the starter kill switch etc.

Depends how far you want to go and how much you want to spend, the Domino + switch is going to at least £150 I’d imagine.

  15. Bit of an update on the fairings and tank taking some time and effort to sand back enough to get a reasonable finish..
