'Empathises, the bloke sat wfh while last of the summer wine on tv with the recliner out on the sofa, eating chilli nuts from the Christmas cupboard'
My kit is also stored on one of those wall mounted organizers on the wall of the garage, my garage is part integral so completely dry, I have however read somewhere that you shouldn't store textiles in the same garage as your bike as the petrol fumes can damage the fabric, sounds like a load of bollocks to me.
My kit is laid of a bed of saffron whilst attending angels sprinkle faerie dust all around, singing and dancing; bringing peace and love to the world.
We have a nice big full-height coat cupboard by the front door which is used solely for 'everyday' bike kit. Boots at the bottom, jackets and trousers hanging up and helmets and gloves on two top shelves. I keep my full leathers, textiles and one or two other lids all in garment bags in the garage - hanging on a clothes rail with shelves that I bought from Asda. This will be their first winter in there. The garage is detached, unheated, but well insulated. I reckon they will be fine.
The key to keeping in the garage seems to be having one attached to the house. So bottom of the garden probably doesn't cut it.
