Lambda sensores post ECU mapping

  1. Lambas were disconnected but Chris couldnt remember if he told ecu to ignore the flapper. Started bike and ticking over here were no engine lights, and everything is removed incl the spring, hence when should the light come on

  2. Sounds like he has done the full mashings with the Lambdas and EXBV. You just need to determine fully open and lock the valve there. If you reinstate the pulley you should be able to determine where it is and then mark it.

  3. Great, thx for the help. Finish it tm, when hopefully the blanking bolts will turn up and I can get back together for a spin around the block. Then if my 'win' comes off, a little gold added this week and ready for a service then spring here we come!!

  4. Well, the light stayed off when it was run disconnected but, after failing to work out how to easily keep the valve open, I stuck it all back on! And what a pain in the arse that was....

Just need to work out how the make my mega heavy QA throttle light and easy...

  5. Have you isnatlled the motor and cables?

To keep the valve in the open position just disconnect the cables from the EXBV and the spring will keep it in the fully opened position.

  6. Yep put the lot back on!

  7. The motor is now redundant because it is disabled in the ECU. Just take it all off except the sprung pulley. The valve is held fully open by the spring. You're carrying around dead weight in the motor.

  8. Think I'll disconnect again and see how it goes on Sunday, and if all A1 junk it all and leave the spring.

  9. Good point, and I love a bit of lock wiring
