  13. I'm still confused.

    Like @Dave, I place arseholes on Ignore - they then vanish from the forums. The only time they reappear again is if I take the arseholes off of Ignore. That tactic does the trick.

    Perhaps if Dave's ability to "Unignore" arseholes was taken away from him, say for a trial period? That way, he could permanently Ignore arseholes and he would never be able to see arseholes posting on his forum and, I am certain, he would become happier.

    That sounds like a lot less work than the alternative, which would be for Dave to submit a list of arseholes for the Mods to ban from his forum
    Lotta work, that.

    A third alternative would be for Dave to find a new forum to run - but I don't suggest that. The idea of telling folk to remove themselves from a forum seems a bit arseholeish to me.

  14. Better still, if Dave puts everyone on ignore, happy days

    mmm I wonder if there was a forum where every member has placed every member on ignore? It would be like a Schrodingers cat forum......is there anyone there? dare I remove the ignore button and find out there is, or maybe not???

  15. So I was right then?:D

  16. What happened to the Aussie who was winding people up?

  17. Thought this was a valid question?
    @Rob

  18. Yes! Thank you for your contributions!

  19. Really this is for @Rob to check out, but I can't see that it would have any legal implications. It wouldn't be different to any other content provider where a paywall has been erected e.g. The Times, The Financial Times etc. You want access to the 'pub' you've got to pay at the door. Good idea @AirCon
