Nope. Riding modes and loadouts can be adjusted on the move. Signal cancel button once to enter riding more menu, repeat to scroll the desired mode, hold for 3 seconds, clutch-in, release throttle, mode changed. Loadout same thing, but hold button longer initially to enter loadout menu. Ashamedly I sometimes have to do this on tricky terrain as the preload can get to high when set to pillion before pillion climbs on board. Yep, I'm impatient. Just get going then adjust loadout when moving. Only thing you can do is to enter the configuration menu. Only works below certain speeds. I think 20mph.
Assuming you put the same size 19" front wheel on, I would agree. Though if I am taking any bike on any sort of great adventure it would be neither of them. You would want something simple with no electronic wizardry.
I think what we meant was where the general customer would take them. If we want to be pedantic, the Multi has been to track days and won Pikes Peak...
GS isnt simple and without electronic gadgetry. And yes you can adjust preload on the move, use it all the time two up as I can drop to single rider in slow town stuff, touch the floor better, then up to higher for the fast stuff. Works a treat Every fuckin post I have to type at one letter per two seconds or it makes up words!!! Close to had enough now...
Well just turn the pridictive text off Bradford ..... arrrrr feck it Bradders .... I see what you mean ....
Has every bike you've owned cost upwards of £13K plus premium maintenance fees? As I've said several times on this forum, it's a great bike when it's working, and I struggle to come up with a credible alternative, but any top-end product should not be plagued by the number of issues that affect the Multi (or should that be Ducati in general?)
