Walked up and down it every day for a week, never saw any trouble. Noted all locals has across shoulder bags though
I agree however I just thought that I would pass on the warning I had heard. I used to live in Napoli so am very used to being wary - never got robbed there either (...or other things...)
That is not a crucifix. It's a bronze of some luminary designed by a sculptor so famous I didn't take any notice of what the audio was saying. Andy
EL Pratt airport is where I'm scheduled to land. Definitely won't be carrying a shoulder bag, or Man bag, or indeed any kind of bag. If necessary use a plastic carrier bag, wot is how I shall be carrying my few things in to the airport.
I walked it once with a bloke from Norwich (walked from city to airport, not from Norwich). Had been working up the coast together on a eurocamp, got a lift to city centre, weren't in a rush so explored a bit, bought a bottle of JD and walked to the airport. Didn't take all day. But its not that far. I'd be tempted by an uber these days.
