Mattress Buying Time

  1. We've recently bought a Leesa memory foam mattress for the spare bed. £500 and about 90% as comfortable as our Tempur. Recommend.
    100 night trial, too.

  2. Two questions

Have you ever been to Russia and have you ever been in a video with Donald trump?

  3. Are you calling Donald Trump a bender? Will the name calling of the president never stop? o_O You've been interacting with Dukey too much, Noobs. :worried:

  7. We had a former one...lasted about 2 years before it turned into a hammock...it was comfortable up to that point though...

  8. I think the cheap memory foam mattresses are foam for 80% of the mattress and 20% at the top being foam....the more you pay the more latex. My mate paid about 2.4k and it's just a slab of latex. Bloody heavy too...

  10. @noobie. The one we bought was a Tempur cloud elite king size jobby. I think the rrp was about 2500 quid, but we bought just as one of the local Dreams shops announced it was closing down a couple of years back, so we ended up paying about 1600 iirc and they threw in 2 of those Tempur pillows. At 2.5k they could have kissed my hairy hoop, but at the money we paid, it was dear, but acceptable. While I'm not a fan of the Tempur pricing policy for what is essentially a big slab of foam, it is extremely comfy and provides the best nights/days kip I've ever had. Food for thought maybe ??

  11. I get what your saying Wayne, people think nothing of paying £2k for a sofa they might use for a couple of hours a day but baulk at over £500 for a mattress you'll hopefully spend 8 hours a day in and perhaps I might have to review my budget.
