Not bad for a nearly 20 year old. It’s a K5 Thou (obvs) with just 9000 miles. A little bit of work to do on it before next year. I got some brand new unfitted carbon fibre with it too so that’s going on after a bit of a wash and brush up and a full service.
You have excellent taste, I had a black K6, same exhaust as yours, fantastic bikes (I've had many GSXR's)
I wanted another really useable classic. Not a Duke as I have two of them already (currently , never know when another turns up) and it had to be a K5. The Honda SP2’s are getting a bit rich so it was a pretty easy choice. I like that they are so analog and I loved my L6 750 track bike.

I remember blagging a K5 for an afternoon when they first came out. I’d recently had a bike nicked and this was on the radar for when I got my insurance pay out. It was impossible not to be impressed. What an engine! So I bought a 999R
As it’s a K5 it just had to be blue - that’s the Law. I think the latest (2021/22?) GSXR 1000r looks brilliant in the Phantom scheme.
