  1. This is my K5, now I have changed the carbon SP Engineering can, it is for sale if you wanted to remove the stock can, I still need to get the wheels repainted in the correct colour, it doesn't look right with the gold rims

This is the SP carbon can if you're interested....

  3. Thanks very much for that.

I found out about the recalls online (https://www.google.com/search?q=k5+gsxr+1000+recall) and there’s nothing outstanding for the bike on the .GOV website (https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall) but I didn’t know about the frame bracing so I’ll do a physical check for that.

  4. Thanks. I really fancy a period Yoshi (of course) but I’ll have to see how easily I can lay my hands on one.

  5. You need a Yoshi Trioval but it should be Yoshi Japan, not Yoshi USA.

  13. I’ve got the front engine bolts on order as of today so that I can ditch the R&G crash pucks. I really don’t like them and Dave’s bike just reaffirmed for me that the clean look is so much better. I’ve already ditched the GB Racing covers.

  14. If you’re not tracking it there’s no point imho. I’d probably have front and rear bobbins tho as they don’t look bad and can save a lot in a slow or stationary drop

  15. Not tracking it mate. Rear bobbins essential for me. I’m keeping the front clean.

  16. I’m the same I don’t bother with crash bungs, they often do more harm than good in a crash but I do have the front and rear spindle bobbins just to try and save the forks/ swingarm in a spill.

  17. The rear ones usually snap the paddock stand lugs off

  18. I use the skewer ones that go through the centre of the wheel spindle.
