so, my 848 mirror bolts loosened so I put a dab of lock tight on the nuts, turns out that was enough to mean they rounded off in the mirror so had to drill the mirror bolts off for a trackday. So now I’ve got two wrecked mirrors as I can’t see a way to replace he captive screw. Anyone got any advice? New mirrors are £150 each and don’t seem readily available on eBay in good condition. Also don’t want aftermarket ones. Anyone got any they will let go?
Really @Phill748 you want to keep the pieces of junk that vibrate so you can see nothing through them? I have a pair they have a few marks on them, but not too bad overall, it depends how picky you are.
