1260 Model Choice Advice

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by DaveM, Oct 12, 2018.

  1. Agree completely. I commute through Liverpool and the width isn’t a problem. The tall height makes it easy to plan ahead. Although it’s not small, it’s so agile filtering is easy. Just need to slow for tight Van on van moments and watch the handguards (clipper mine twice but no damage to them, or the mirrors I clipped).

  2. I have a 1200s multistrada, tested all the other stuff out there, nothing came close.
It all felt really odd as I've been riding a 999 for years.
It took a while to get used to the height and weight but a trip away sorted that out.
Very flexible, change the settings depending pillion and luggage weights but it is permanently in sport mode.
Get the screen right for your height and enjoy.
1260 has more torque, that would be my choice.
