It's gone cold and wet, here in Santander, but I took the risk, coming here in April. I could of done something different, but chose here as it was easy. I am still unsure about what to do regarding money. My brother says, just suck it up as who knew that the Dire Straights of WhoreMoose were the lifeblood of the world. I remain unsure.
Apart from doing a bit of ABBA I have installed Yahoo Finance on my phone, with a view to doing a bit of share trading to see if I can beat the imbeciles wrecking my trust fund. Yes, there was a dip at I guess, when we discovered all of this green shite, was indeed shite, and really Iran controls everything, with our dependency on oil and gas, but overall, the FTSE has gone up over the past six months. Only an idiot could lose money on a cautious mix of shares and government bonds. It seems those idiots are working for me! And my brother saying his longterm (pension) investment have lost - I reckon this war crap has been seized upon by financial companies to raise profits

He advocates for patience, deep research, staying within one’s "circle of competence," and holding investments for years or decades". Otherwise its simply gambling like the races.
