I'm close to purchasing one or other of these bikes. any help on deciding would be great thanks people. I mostly shoot into town and short journeys so maybe the 821? cheers Steve
821 is a great bike I’d recommend it but sure about the 1100 , it’s a pity you’re not in Ireland because I’m selling my 821
I've owned both and think that the 821 is a better ride for town work. The 1100 fueling was awful in 30 limits even with O2 eliminators, it was a lovely torque Monster and great fun when making progress with the exception of the front forks. The 821 just felt more sophisticated, less of a Ducati in a way.
