Moto Gp R6: Le Mans (spoilers)

  1. That's the first time his mum went to a GP.
His dad went to other GPs but first time to a French one.
What an amazing reward for them indeed, the public went crazy and deservedly so. Proud moments.
And it puts Johan into the history books of the very few Frenchmen that won a GP in France.

  2. Took Marc over half a season to win a race on the 2023 bike (the Aragon double) :)

  3. Not enough has been said about Zarco going through the gravel at turn one lap one either (in the pecco crash)

  5. Really pleased to see Zarco take the win and on home soil too. Well deserved. As for the MM show...he's on the same bike as many around him yet still manages to eek out that little bit more from the bike. Not quite sure why that riles so many people. I agree that we would all like to see less dominance from one rider (take Bautista for example in 2023/24) but let's not go down the weight penalty route just to try (and it's failed) to make the racing any closer. In WSBK all it's done is allow Bulega to enjoy the same superiority his team-mate formerly had and romp to a probable championship title.

  6. MM knocked Rossi off his perch. That’s where the majority of his haters come from. The Rossettes. Rossi picked a powerful enemy in Marquez and came off 2nd best. Casey Stoner got a lot of hate too. Because he had the audacity to hand Rossi his arse from time to time.

I’m old enough to remember Larry Holmes knocking seven bells out of Ali. That didn’t go down very well either, such was Ali’s following.

  8. well said, most of the people most angry and upset with the slightest thing Marquez does are the hardcore Rossi fans, probably the same ones that stood and threw abuse at stoner over the fences like football yobs

  9. Hope u two aren’t bracketing me in your little dream world scenario there :joy:

  10. In fact while we’re on the subject Id also go as far as to say it’s idiots like you two that seem to have the issue here.

You can’t seem to accept that some people, despite the many many explanations of why, don’t want to rim the same rider as you, and watch the same boring races week after week as you seem to. That’s fine by me but seemingly not you.

Get a grip ya pair of fucking fannys. If u don’t like different opinions fuck off to North Korea, they’ll love you there. I read your opinions without managing to kill myself.

Oh and fuck Rossi I’ve never been a fanboy of any rider for the millionth time.

  16. See I just dont get that side of sport - I am one of the biggest Rossi fans going but when Lorenzo, Stoner or Marquez beat him and took the spoils I just give them credit for it and respect they were the better rider on the day. This Hate thing ruins it.

Years ago, at an F1 race in early 2000's I was sat with loads of other Ferrari fans and Schuey was kicking butt, Kimi was in the Mclaren giving him a run for his money at the time. A load of Finn's turned up, there was heckling/jeering etc but we all had a great time - when Kimi's car blew up they came over and shook hands with the Ferrari fans saying well done - thats what sport should for people
