Sorry but youve gotta be on the fucking spectrum to be wearing one of those...while we were at the TT there was a bloke (on his own) wearing one....walking round like he fucking owned the place (we were at Ballacraine that day)....
So the magistrate accepted that the rider ‘had not intended to deceive’ but still found him guilty. From my perspective, I can see no reason for wearing a high viz that has clearly been designed to look like a police jacket other than to deceive. On topic but slightly hijacking, I now understand that motorcyclists riding in France (and maybe other mainland EEC member countries) must carry a long sleeve hi viz not just a waistcoat. Andy
Serves him right. Theres only one reason to wear one of those as opposed to a normal hi-viz. That is to pretend to be a plod.
I agree with you on your first point but I don't think you need a long sleeve hi vis (at least not at the moment).
I can only recount what the group leader escorting a ride to Germany through France has advised us to take. Andy
Does that mean every other T**t that wears them will now stop. Its pretty obvious what your are trying to impersonate
It must mean that Suffolk Police are increasing the size of their mounted police section... ..all the horseriders around here wear those jackets.
I get the point - it's to get drivers attention. But I have to be honest, I fookin' HATE those jackets!!
