Well, saw it yesterday. I enjoyed it (although felt a bit hungry throughout - no lunch - and then when Bond got his dry martini, I really fancied one too...) I think I liked it more than Skyfall. It's a bit on a par with Quantum for me - not as good as Casino. But... I don't know. I am finding a certain difficulty engaging as you just sort of know the plot from the off. You have seen so many permutations of the same things that maybe I don't enjoy the films quite as much as I did. Still like the locations, but the characterisations are pretty sketchy. Bellucci was a little wasted, and although you get a bit more Fiennes, he could clearly do a whole lot more. How many scenes have we seen in the 4 films where Bond gets ticked off by his boss? Happens all the time. Maybe he should be praised from time to time just to break the monotony. Craig is by far the best Bond - even better than Connery, I think.
Craig is certainly the best Bond, I even prefer him to David Niven and George Lazenby. Yes, I am being serious.
Been to see, Hunger Games "Mocking Jay part 2" A very good ending to the series with the usual full on action, best to start with the first film to enjoy the series.
Don't bother with the ridiculous 6 unless your are rat arsed. Slow, predicatable and childish. I'd have loved it at 12 or 13, pissed on cider watching it on betamax.
Ironically I just sold my laserdisc player in eBay tonight....20+ years old and still going strong...
Watched Grimsby today, a wacky, crude, rude and funny film :Jawdrop::Happy: and filmed in Tilbury Essex,
In many respects it's not all that complicated: Stay IN: Status quo. We know where we are with trade. Expect constant migration of about at least 250'000 extra people per year. Get OUT: We don't know exactly where we will be with trade, but we think it shouldn't be too bad (and possibly better). We decide how many people come. Seems quite obvious to me.
Sorry about that. I posted in the wrong thread, thought I had been able to remove it and failed miserably. Doh!
There was a blu ray uploaded a couple of days ago....11.5 gig so really good quality...if you want to beat the que..
Probably....im still going to buy the blu ray but ill wait for the 4k version ( I think that's coming out ) While Star Wars does rank in my most favourite of all films I'm not the kind of person that collects all the toys and stuff...I like the films a lot but nothing more than that...
What you don't own a lightsaber. I found "Spotlight" a much bigger eye opener than what i thought was going on,
