  1. Well done , and thanks for the info , I will be trying one as well as touring will be a blessing with no lube, chain check etc .
Again appreciate the the information. As you say it’s a small cost compared to the cost of the bike . Experimentation is the best fun you can have alongside burning fuel .Tyring to justify £ is pointless

  3. Still trying to get more info on the Hpe Chain but for those who worry about the quality of the standard , if you look after it it will stay clean , okay this one’s only done 1509 miles but it’s an easy thing to do . It’s the ease of the Hpe on tour that interest me 42132753-05C2-458F-9C34-A6C6FD4CD56D.jpeg 460C46FB-3BA6-44F5-AA6D-17A9D2F46C43.jpeg

  4. acs.jpg Now fitted the HPE Chain along with the RoadSmart 4 , I like it and did a quick 300 on it with no issues ,no noise no heat , an easy clean and no oil , fantastic , almost like having a GS again .......

  5. Is it gold or is that just the way the light is reflecting from it?

  7. First bike with a chain for a long time, so first time I've had the maintenance to get used to, but have to say it looks rather splendid...

    OEM chain replaced 500 miles ago - DID 525 HV3 I believe.

  8. That’s my experience of it too - just did another 1350 miles up in Scotland last weekend and only gave it a wipe down… very low maintenance!
