  8. Hope you are OK and impressed that a binned Multi made to hospital as well!

  9. Thanks fellas I'm Ok,they thought I fractured my neck and transferred me to a larger hospital but it's just torn ligaments, they couldn't believe I rode 75klm to the hospital but when your in the bush there's no other option, the Multistrada is still the best bike I've ever owned, just don't know whether to step up to a DVT model or stay with the earlier ones,

  10. Like your spirit.
I’d stick with the earlier ‘raw’ version, they seem to have softened with age!

  11. Ouch.! Get better soon. Falling off is always a bugger!

Talking about the bikes .... To DVT or not DVT, that is the question.!

Me, personally, pre-DVT Mut but full Ohlins version for handling, low down oomph (the feeling of)

DVT great mid/top end etc not so happy with the suspension. Actually, the lack of precise adjustability that the Ohlins versions had. Just my thoughts based on ownership of both (DVT 2017 1200 currently, 2011 "S" previously)

  12. Great stuff, I'll keep my eyes open for a good early 1200s with ohlins suspension.

  13. Don't agree with the views above this post,. After having had a twin spark and now a DVT, for me the DVT wins hands down, it's an easier bike to get on with and, in my opinion, even though it doesn't feel as quick as the TS, in my view is actually quicker.

  14. Not talking about speed.
I spent ages fine tuning the Ohlins set up and, as I said, personally, the handling is better. The DVT engine above 4.5k is, in my comparison, better.

Each to their own as they say.

  15. Took mine out for first ride of the year 20190221_153450.jpg
