Apparently the lugs were redesigned to strengthen them, which is now standard on 16 bikes. If you break them on a 15 bike they should be replaced with the newer design under warranty. Question to you guys that gave broken lugs. Are your bikes 2015 or 2016 ? If you have broken the new design then clearly they need more work...
