Ok, so two things. 1) Are your headlights led or halogen ? 2) can you post a pic of the wiring diagram in the back of your manual, so I can confirm if the wiring matches my UK bike. If they are led and can bus controlled it's not a quick fix.
Ok. Looking at part numbers it appears the headlight is not a different part number for the US, so it's probably the way it is controlled (or configured). You may be able to internally mod it. The alternative is to determine if it is commanded differently by generating can bus logs to compare with a log from a UK bike. This all starts to get a lot more techy very quickly, and to be honest not something I have time to get into.
