  1. You going? Hoping to start work 21/01, so back to weekends for me.

  2. I'll be there on the 21st November:)

  3. How much does this cost then? I'm super poor right now on account of spending money on Chinese food and porn and stuff.

  4. Stop spending your money on Chinese food, porn and stuff, instead save it for things like this! Hope this helps

  6. I was thinking I might go, but haven't made any arrangements yet. Went last year but we were very pressed for time so I didn't get to see everything. More crowded at weekends, so I would probably go in the week.

  7. If I don't get the job I am 90% on or it doesn't start, may well join you.

  8. Let me know (nearer the time) whether you are working or not on Monday 21 November, which is a possible date.

  9. Sorted. I am going on Sunday 27 November (the last day). Bought the tickets and everything. Travelling up by car with mates. We have planned to allow more time for looking around the show in a leisurely fashion this year, after last year's rush.

  13. I'm not going this year

  14. I went up Sunday and had a cracking day some lovely bikes there and people were really keen to talk. get there early as it's bigger than you think, I was there at 10am and didn't leave till 4-45pm. saw everything though and put me name down for a test ride on the new 1299.

  15. We went saturday, first time for 3 or so years.

Have to say it was very good, we were there 7 hours and could have spent longer......

It was eye opening to see that whereas in the old days the manufacturers have loads of sports bikes in prominence and then a few of the other types, now most seem to be the other way round with the adventure and retro ones on most stands being at the forefront with sports bikes a bit more in the background. A big shift of direction I guess....

  16. I went on Sunday and felt that its gotten even smaller compared to previous years.

Same stands, same bikes it just felt a little meh.

Also a little bit disappointed with the parts suppliers there as i was specifically after a deal Ohlins cartridge kit. The only place selling cartridge kits were bike torque racing, but they don't sell ohlins. Picked up a Matris kit instead and got a pretty good deal, but i was still disappointed there wasn't more on offer.

Not sure if i'll go next year.

  17. I need some new boots so was going to go just to try and get an end of season bargain. J&S have 20% off everything during the bike show, so may just wander along there instead
