1200 New Angel Gt Time

  1. The reason I ask is, a tyre fitting mate of mine, refuses to repair a puncture in a tyre, if it has any sealant in it.

  2. I normally repair my own. But I can't see why. To be honest the stuff only leaves a thin coating inside the tyre.

  3. About to order a set of these (D rating ones) but is there a rating for the front? Do you have to match ratings front/rear? Is there a D rated tyre for the front too as i'm only finding the A and normal 120/70 one.

  4. Found my own answer... Only D for the rear. Front is the standard for the multi.

    FITMENT
    • 120/70 ZR 17 M/C (58W) TL - 2.7 BAR[IMG]
    • 190/55 ZR 17 M/C (75W) TL (D) - 2.7 BAR

  5. Changed my mind at checkout. Went for scorpion 2's on the basis that they are labelled as an improvement on the Angel GT's and I actually rated the original scorps.

  6. Didn't rate the old scorpions but the latest are excellent, I,ll most likely fit them again come replacement time.

  7. Apart from excessive wear in the centre of the originals, grip and feel are good in my opinion. Did about 5000 miles on them. Always been a Pirelli lover though as the turn in and feel is far better than any other manufacturer I have tried.

  8. Strangely my front tyre (original Scorpions) was shot after 1800 miles!!! and needed replacing before a small road trip, fitted T30s. This time providing they last longer I will have no hesitation in fitting the Mark IIs
