New Project - But Not A Bike (yet)!

Discussion in 'Builds & Projects' started by midlifecrisis, Jun 8, 2019.

  1. I have this for an extension I use. It hangs in the centre for when I need power in middle of the garage and I lift up when out of use. It’s hind over some nails in the beams to I can position anywhere I need it. Also means it’s long enough it can sit on the bike seat if I have a charger connected to make sure nothing falls ;)

  2. Now the 888 is complete, I am ready to give the shed the finish it needs (all the mess is done).

Insulation was very important for the shed, as I keep the bike there throughout the year. Chose to go with the insulating bubble wrap as the walls weren't deep enough for the foam type.

Nicely hidden at the end of the garden.

Getting a heater in the shed has been really important for me. During the winter, it is going pretty much flat out, set at 12 degrees, as I want to ensure the place stays as dry as possible, which after 2 years in action, it has been really good in that regard.

Having a relatively tight space, the smoothness of the floor has allowed me to have the Abba Skylift and I can spin her around easily.

Now the bike is done, I plan on painting it completely white internally and fit interlocking Garage floor tiles to "pretty" it up.
