Number 235..... First Ducati I've ever owned, and to say I'm impressed is an understatement....... Still only 140 miles on the clock,so still all new to me,but defo ticking boxes !!
Lol I'm still in two minds about tracking it,but know il be absolutely devastated if I binned it..... So for this year, will just be a weekend toy...
Just for a heads up, they run the engines at high rpm when testing before sending out. The only real reason for low rpm is literally to stop them getting as many problems within warranty period. You only need to do about 150 miles in reality. Otherwise what happens when a race engine gets rebuilt, he has to do 600miles on track before opening up? What I'm getting at, is enjoy it now it's good for it.
Well spotted,as 100% Cambridge....... Not that local,as still an hour away, but got the best trade in deal, and fitted all my goodies, including tracker for free........ If the first service is just as trouble-free,will defo be a regular customer
So finally, after over two months of ownership,I officially feel like a biker once again..... As managed to brave and dodge the crap weather, and get my bike serviced in Cambridge today..... AND the sure pleasure of not having to keep looking down at the revs, every time of an overtake,or a rideout with my mates,as they all blast off into the distance, was 100% well worth the £273 first service bill....... Excellent experience with Ducati Cambridge, and they even managed to source me a service book.... Yep,I know its all online etc,but I'm from the past, where collecting the receipts/service book etc,was all part of the joys of ownership..... Anyway, one happy bunny, and bring on Sunday,as weather looking tropical lol
