I have mine (2023 V2) about a year. I was really enjoying it but a deer hit me last June. Just got her back around October repaired. Great bike, love it, everything I wanted and didnt want.
Thanks for the welcome and the reassurance Yes, I thought that the 959 was really nice and useable when I took it on a short test ride Can't wait for it to arrive and for a non-rainy day so I can really give it a run out
My 'test ride' was at Silverstone on a Ducati day. The 1299 was batshit crazy tamed by the electronics, the 959 you felt like you were making most of the decisions. I'm not by any means a sports bike person and have only ridden on track a couple of times so maybe not the most suitable of people to comment. However, my choice would be the 959. Had a V4s Panigale for a day few years ago and that was a better road bike than the 1299 IMHO.
I think we are thinking similarly I test rode the V4S Panigale on track which was lovely but seemed a bit too track focused rather than road, and it was too expensive at £22k , then tried out the Supersport 950s (in White) and liked that a lot but I wasn't inspired by it, then saw the Panigale 959 and loved it straightaway and the short test ride just confirmed that it was a good balance of performance on the road <fingers crossed>
