I can't believe how many of these R models have been nowhere. I don't think I've seen another for sale with more than 10k miles of for years.
Got a 998r with nearly 30k miles on. Added zero miles for the past 5 or 6 years. When I did use it I went all over the place in the Uk and Europe. I found it comfy enough for long distance trips.

 

23k on mine and it’s still totally original and immaculate. I hear that these are some of the most robust engines Ducati make.
