I have a new 890 Monster that cuts out when changing gear. As well as trying to throw me off it frightens anybody following. Has anybody else suffered this problem. Ducati have done remap but it still does it. Thanks
My first thought was, it’s a problem with the QS, hence my question. I suggest you turn the QS off and see if the old school way still causes the engine cut. Andy
Yes I thought Of that but I never know when it is going to do it. It seems better after the remap but I was dis appointed it did it again. Ducati are aware of the problem but say remap will cure it.
In your case, Ducati would appear to be wrong. I'd go back to the dealer but in the meantime, try turning the QS off and see how it goes. Andy
