@Andy Mushlarky Welcome to the forum. I was lucky enough to ride a few hundred miles on an 821 earlier in the year, great bike that is easy to ride, is comfy, handles well and is plenty quick enough. You can pop out for coffee, tour, carry a pillion etc etc and when you wind it up it is fast too. The only thing I didnt like was the gearing/revvy nature of the engine so I decided in the end to get a 1200 which has much more torque and is geared to do 18mph per 1000RPM in top I think against about 14 mph on the 821. That sort of thing might not bother you but it was enough to push me to the 1200.
