ultimate question which do I go for, 1299 or V4. Both amazing bike, had the pleasure of trying both but just don't know which one to choose. Mostly only Euro track days approx 8 a year. Any help trying to make my mind up would help!
Love Ducati as with being a tall rider they fit like a glove! Only worry I've got with the V4 is parts availability as there new.
Its in the press - should be shown at italy show Nov, but completely new - it wil come as a 1100/1200 and then a 1000cc to homo like ducati , new frame/engine/electronics etc...
Again Track Bike R1M all the way. Ive ordered V4R so my dilemma shall i use that for a track bike or stick to the R1M. If im being honest with myself will i gain anything by changing bikes maybe a bit quicker maybe might handle better maybe knock a couple of seconds of my lap time . How bloody fast do i want to go NOT that fast lol . Knowing me wil NOT register it ride on the road 3 to 4 times.Then leave it in garage to gather DUST lol/
Surprised no one's mentioned the ZX10 or the S1000RR. Uber capable track weapons... But going back to OP 1st post. I'd say the V4 shades it. Different beast to the 1299 though... Ooh, decisions decisions...
