  1. Some people had a vote, people voted and the votes were counted. Some folks didnt get what they wanted and blamed others for not getting what they wanted. Some will blame corruption, some will blame negative campaigning, many will say that they had a vote and it didnt go their way,get over it, back off and stop bloody moaning.I fear that more votes will be insisted on until the yes vote wins and at that point,no more more votes will be allowed.
Ofcourse, these are not my personal views.............

  2. Everybody got what they wanted from the referendum. The Scottish :))) got more self-rule, the Westminster crew didn't lose a large chunk of UK ... it's all good.

The Yes campaign left enough unanswered questions that the Undecideds erred on the side of caution - result.
The No campaign barely broke a sweat and actually came close to giving the whole smoke & mirror show away with their nauseating complacency, but the Yes campaign did their job for them by only half-doing their own.

    Everybody won.

    Next!

  3. stu,,, I don't know if you are including me in your post , but I am not moaning about anything,, I know our day will come.. but in the mean time I will delight myself in watching England wallowing in the pit of inequality, manipulation, ignorance , racial intolerance and financial decline..

  7. He can't help it... He's from Aberdoom. He's got a nice bike though.

  8. That is harsh.

  9. By that logic we should have just given up after the disaster of Dunkirk. Don't you know the tale of Robert the Bruce, the spider and the cave?

  10. Sorry to correct you John but that is a myth. Public services spending per head maybe higher per head in Scotland but public spending is not. That just says we have our priorities right.

  11. and here was me thinking it was people spending out with there means.

  12. I think thats the gist Fin. Why Gimmy couldnt just say that as succinctly as you we shall never know as he will undoubtedly give us chapter and verse on the reasons. :Angelic:

  13. yes ok, bit harsh,, I do not really wish any ill on all Englanders, but I have no time for the rich tory who is getting richer by the day on the back of the poor getting poorer,, nor their supporters .
ps... Russel Brand was q good on question time last night..

  14. aint nothing " doom " about Aberdeen mate,,, quite the opposite , Aberboom would be much more appropriate..

  16. He played to the audience who seemed to like him, but he was on home ground, I just though he was a prat.

It was a good panel though, with a vocal audience.

What about all the rich lefties, Russell Brand for one ?

  17. yer q rite there mate,, grumpy tight fisted ( grippet ) shower of c*nts,, but plenty work and plenty money to be made.. , but not all,,,,the younger generation are a bit more laid back...

  18. I shan't give you chapter and verse. Fin is right, of course, but I was referring to fiscal bankruptcy. The folly of spending beyond your ability to repay applies as much to government as it does to private individuals. More so since the debt will be forced onto other people who were not responsible for running it up. Banks and bond markets don't force you to borrow. It is the debtor's choice.

  19. My only debt is a modest mortgage, which we overpay. I cant abide debts they give me worry, so I dont allow myself to have anything over £500 on my visa.

  20. Neither do I. Nor for the rich champagne socialist, nor the rich professional politician of left or right who has risen to the top through nepotism and the old boy/comrade network.
