Off Seasons Vs On Season Prices

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by RC1, Jun 13, 2022.

  1. ok so a bit of a silly one but i dont buy bikes often. ive bought 2 in the last 18 months and conditions were weird back then

for arguments sake lets take a bog standard 959 with around 5-7k miles. what would it cost now vs in winter assuming one could locate one

are there really seasonal fluctuations? just asking for a friend who doesnt have forum membership

  3. I'll answer then. About 10%.

  4. Always find there are bargains when taxman rears his ugly head. End of July & end of January people off load the toys to pay HMRC leeches.

  5. I just buy um don't really worry about times or prices really.

  6. Likewise if I ever buy a bike (which is very very incredibly rare :joy:) there are deals to be had all year round. And the summer / winter price gap isn’t as prominent as maybe it has been in the past. Bargains all year round, just keep looking :upyeah:

Now, I just need to work out how to stop buying them all :joy::joy:
