996 Oil Pressure Switch

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by Messer, Jul 12, 2020.

  1. Hi all. Can anyone tell me which Opel pressure switch fits the 996 with the correct electrical connector please?

or best to be done with it and pay £30 from Ducati ?

  2. Vauxhall Aguila

  3. Last time I bought the Aguila one it was about £18 as opposed to about £30 for the Ducati one. Pressure range goes a bit lower IIRC but that's Ok as it'll trigger sooner rather than later if there's an issue. Since fitting on the Monster I've never had a problem but had three Ducati ones prior to that over the years!

  4. Opel/Vauxhall :upyeah:there are many alternatives and you just need to have a hunt to get the price down. I can't speak for the longevity of the pucka expensive ones, but the aftermarket units only tend to last a year or so. Last price was about £4 posted so I bought 4.

  5. Thanks, but all the ones I see don’t appear to have the same style connector ?

  6. Cheers for that I did just find one o. eBay that looked
To have the same connector so I’ll give that a spin and see what happens
