That went well: eventually - I only had to wait 24 hours for the Venhill banjos to turn up (and very good quality they are too), made a small rig to let me torque them up with the calipers off the bike, then spent random bits of three days bleeding the blighters. Took it for a shakedown run up to The Green Welly last night and - my goodness - what a difference. I don't use the brakes all that much but it's great to know that when you're really on it, you've something with real bite available. In short, they feel just like the M50s do on the Panis and V4 I've ridden - fantastically powerful and very controllable, even with the stock M/C. Obviously on the Multi, there's a deal more fork dive, but there the Ohlins SCU does seem to help out. The Spiegler lines are very good quality, and the fact that you can rotate the fitting makes it very easy to align the lines to the calipers - it's just a pity that their banjos aren't much cop. Very pleased with the outcome, and now feel that my good old single spark, with all the tweaks I've made over the years, is the match of anything out there.
