It's me Rob. Until I found the Omega, all mechanical watches gained significant time on my wrist. The worst one, within an hour of wearing it, the minute hand was going round like a second hand. Andy
I like nice watches but I have to say Rolex as a brand simply doesn't appeal to me. I guess if it's a more 'classic' looking watch style it's an Omega I'd choose, maybe a seamaster 600 PO, at the moment I tend to like many of the pilot type brands or alternate dive watches. Just picked up a nice Bell and Ross Br03 GMT and have my eyes on various Panerai but I'd like to find a nice lightly used (cheaper deal) IWC Big pilot or Zenith Pilot
I have exactly the same one. Bought circa 2010and worn about 3time less than yours!! i will wear it in due course. I have a Zenith Chronomaster in for my special occasion watch. I have one or two others as well.
Breguet do some nice pilots watches. I’ve not found a Bell and Ross I like thus far-look to much like Ford Capri dials for my liking....
That's a very nice watch actually, probably wear quite well on me being 45mm as I have arm's like a gorilla
So people spend £££££ on watches and never wear them and then moan about people spending ££££££ on bikes and never riding them.
I dont wear a watch and always have 2 or 3 bikes on the road - can you believe some people can't even build their own bikes from bits of tubing and have to buy them but have Tamiya kits in their house, yes in their house!!! as ornaments instead of real bikes Mmm might make me a watch
