It’s injected. It was a sod to start last year after a 2/3 month lay up, changed the fuel and that seemed to help. Never really had any other modern singles, this one doesn’t like to be left sitting in the shed though, I should man up and use it in winter really.
Quick update. battery is Yuasa YTX9-BS. About 10 minutes on a normal charger and bike starts fine. Therefore, either the optimate is faulty or it’s no good for charging a flatter battery.
Sounds similar to the problem and outcome I had with my old Optimate 2. I think I only paid £20ish for a new Optimate 1. Even from a Ducati dealer!
